Introduction
The noted mobile maker Samsung Electronics announced the
arrival of its Galaxy A9 model in China. The launching of the new entrant in
the Galaxy product line was very much due with many rumours about its
appearance and functionality doing rounds with tech buffs. In tune with its claim, the company came out with the display of the new model of Samsung Galaxy a few days back. The
company said that it would mostly hit the stores in China in the first month of
next year (2016). However, it did not
reveal its price or the pricing strategy in the market. It is expected only
after the official launch. The South
Korean-based mobile behemoth has not even given out any information on the
launch of its new product in other markets.
Galaxy A9 Launch
The mobile behemoth Samsung the
announced the rolling of its new phablet at an event in China two days ago.
According to the information available with the analysts, as given out by the
company representatives at the launch venue, the Galaxy A9 is going to hit the
Chinese markets by mid of January next year (2016). However, the pricing mechanism and the likely
launch in other markets across the world are not revealed by the company
representatives. It is touted to come with the mobile payment service application
that the company had rolled out recently in Asia. Samsung Electronics has
christened this service as Samsung Pay.
Galaxy A9 Main Features
The new product in the staple of
Samsung Galaxy phablet comes with a 6-inch touch screen display with an awesome
resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. This mobile is powered by a non-removable
4000mAh battery. The company claims that this battery can be charged faster,
and it has superior power retention capacity. It also comes with the premium
fingerprint scanner for providing better security. Moreover, the 6-inch display
is amply protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 4. This protective layer is
expected to guard the sensitive touch screen from scratches and oil stains.
Other Features
This beautiful phablet comes into
the life with the help of a 1.8-GHz A72 Cortex Octa-Core processor. This
powerful processor is supplemented by Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 chipset and
Adreno 510 GPU to give a superb user experience. This powerful layer of
physical processor is layered on top with the Android 5.1.1 operating system. The company claims that this OS is going to
get Android Marshmallow v6.0 update soon. The phablet Galaxy A9 comes with a
3GB RAM and a 32GB internal memory. This inbuilt memory can be expanded up to
128GB with the help of a micro-SD card.

The new phablet has built in
provisions for internet and device connectivity. They include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi
Direct, Hotspot – Dual Band, GPS with A-GPS facility, USB v2, GLONASS,
Bluetooth v4.2, Radio and NFC.
Powerful Cameras
Samsung Galaxy A9 has on board one
front and one back camera. The rear 13-megapixel camera has a resolution of
4128 x 3096 pixels. It has auto-focus, panorama, face detection, touch-focus, LED
Flash light, HDR and Geo-tagging features. On the other hand, the 8-megapixel
front camera has selfie snapper and feature. This front-camera feature supports
1080-pixel high-definition video recording.
